Spiraea alba (MEADOWSWEET) LG

Plant this lovely shrub in larger groups for a mass of finer textured foliage and upright blooms. The flowers provide nectar and pollen to a variety of bees and it provides cover and nesting sites for birds.  Easy to grow, Spirea likes a bit more moisture in the soil, but it can also handle intermittent dry conditions.

Plants that grow well with Spirea alba: Monarda fistulosa (bee balm), Symphyotrichum oolentangiense (sky blue aster), Sporobolus heterolepis (prairie dropseed)
